So, I'm enrolled on the OCA distance learning BA in Fine Art, which begins with a module on drawing. Great! And requires students to keep a 'learning log': a reflective record of experience, learning, problem solving and research. Having tried several formats including a large notebook, I'm returning to the blog as a way to record and crucially share the log with tutors and students; scanning all those pages to upload for the tutor was not time efficient! So, back to the blog for me.
It feels rather more exposing as anyone can see my foul-ups, but I guess it's time I admitted I make mistakes... after all wasn't it Edison who said he didn't fail 10,000 times, he simply learned 10,000 ways that it won't work? So here goes for 10,000 + drawings that didn't work!
